Review summary

This was a great cruise as long as you enjoy the ship and sea days. Silhouette is a beautiful ship with plenty of activities. Celebrity excels with food and beverages. Service was exceptional.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Faster and more organized than some other ports.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Blu restaurant was up to usual high standards. The couple times we ate in the buffet was fresh and good too. Beverage service in the buffet could be faster.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Since there were many sea days, the pool was very crowded. People tend to hold chairs for hours. Celebrity could do better to monitor and remove towels after the 30 minutes.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Live music and DJs were great. Did not attend the shows.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Outstanding. Our steward paid attention and anticipated our requests. The best cabin service in 4 cruises. Casino staff was great as well.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great location on the ship. Away from the crew doors. Central to both forward and midships elevators and stairs. Some noise from the solarium above but not enough to make it unpleasant.

Ship tip

The forward elevators are a much easier way to get around other than stairs. Midships elevators are less reliable.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

George Town, Grand Cayman

The Turtle sanctuary and breeding center was amazing. We got to hold baby turtles and snorkel with the younger ones.

Oranjestad, Aruba

4 out of 5
So, so windy. Beautiful beaches but we were sandblasted.

Willemstad, Curacao

5 out of 5
Great old town, historic pontoon bridge, beautiful beaches. There is a small, hidden beach called City Beach 88 that caters to locals and divers. Not for swimming, but inexpensive and walkable from the cruise port.

Kralendijk, Bonaire

5 out of 5
Absolutely gorgeous. Inexpensive transportation and reefs right off the beach, Great for snorkeling. Most beaches do not have amenities except for Sorabon Beach, but that is not a snorkeling beach.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Luggage pickup and passport control/customs was SLOW. Plan on extra time. Took us 90 minutes after we left the ship. At least the airport is close.
