Review summary

Just adults this time and our very first time on Celebrity. It does seem that you do get treated a little different being just “Preview” level, but paid just as much to be there. We heard that a few times that we are just preview from staff. Will we book the next one with Celebrity....not sure as it wasn’t any more special/superior then other cruiselines we have been on.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
This was great, seemed to breeze right through

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was excellent. We took advantage of the dining room and specialty dining every night. Limited visits to the buffet for breakfast and lunch. And of course for pizza after midnight.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pools and chairs were very busy. Tough to get a good spot until later in the day. The solarium pool was nice and quiet but sometimes too quiet. A little music would be nice at times to break the silence

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the shows and live music. The silent disco was so much fun.

Children's Programs

We did not travel with kids

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
I was expecting a higher level of service on the pool decks, casinos and entertainment venues. There seemed to be few and far between beverage servers and when you did find one it often took a while to get your drink. We mostly served ourselves by finding the nearest bar and stood in line. That part was a disappointment.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was clean and well taken care of.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Rooms were good. Balcony was fairly large and had great chairs and a larger table which was nice.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida Did not visit port

Just flew in and boarded the ship

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
Did our own thing and took a shuttle down to the beach. Had lunch in the open air pub. Beautiful area and beauty day.

Oranjestad, Aruba

5 out of 5
We took a catamaran down to a beach area. It was fun and you got to see the coast as you sailed.

Willemstad, Curacao

5 out of 5
We snorkeled here. Had a nice boat ride out and got to see some beautiful homes on the way.

Kralendijk, Bonaire

5 out of 5
My new favourite port. Very relaxed island. The market was nice with lots of local made products and the vendors are not pushy. We took an open air Jeep to Lac Bay and did the eco tour. It was a very interesting drive, you got to see different areas of the island.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We walked off with our luggage and it was smooth and fairly quick getting thru

Took this cruise in Feb. First time ever we were not able to get a chair bu the outdoor pool. I was out by 8:30am and every chair had a towel on it. As I walked through every couple hours chairs still reserved and no one there. Something definately needs to be done about this.
