Review summary

Always enjoy a Celebrity cruise, booked for next year already

Embarkation

5 out of 5
As Aqua Class, the checkin and entry to ship is fast and easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The Agua Class restaurant, Blu, has amazing service and great food--the best dining anywhere!

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Used the gym, sauna and steam room (in the Persian Garden) daily. Enjoy the indoor pool as it is quieter and kid free with better chaise lounges

Entertainment

2 out of 5
The Celebrity production shows are horrible. The individual talent is a mixed bag--some good and some a joke. But, it is something to do in the evening

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Blu restaurant staff went beyond expectations (which were high in the first place). Cabin attendant was very attentive to our needs

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Having been on similar Celebrity ships, it was as expected: maintained and clean

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
A small space that contains everything you need. Balcony was great size and so wast the bathroom

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

Typical island stop

Oranjestad, Aruba

Interesting, the 7 mile beach/hotel strip is the only nice spot. The rest of the island is extremely ugly--looks like you are on the moon or mars.

Willemstad, Curacao

5 out of 5
Excellent island, a regular person could live here. Big enough to have all the stores and services a person would want. There is actually a middle class here with nice living standard. There are also several, secluded, but outstanding beaches--some of the best of the Caribbean.

Kralendijk, Bonaire

Not much to see here. Poor, small population, no nice beaches. Apparently if you are into diving and snorkling it is great, but not my thing. If there is a day to stay on the ship insteand of going ashore, this is the place to do it.

Disembarkation

Better than other times. I think the ideal situation is to keep your luggage with you and just walk off the ship when you are ready instead of waiting for your number to be called
