The ship is a little tired and we should have picked a better itineerary.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Usual long lines, but they moved well.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Long waits at the pool bar. Paid for premium drink package, but there were often limited choices for wines and spirits.
The main dining room staff was great. Specialty restaurants...Qsine was exceptional, Tuscan Grille not so much. Filet was overcooked and very tough. However, service was perfect at both.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Pedestrian.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Entertainment was varied and of high quality. Spectacular band, Uptown, at the main theater.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Dining staff at the main dining room and specialty restaurants was very good. Oceanview Cafe & Bar and pool area was perfunctory.
Imade, our room steward, was professional, personable, and very competent.

The room felt a little tired. Amazing room steward...Imade.
Ship tip
Pick a better itinerary than the Western Caribbean. If all that you want is a relaxing experience, this works. If you are looking for interesting ports of call, find something else.
Relentless upsell for drink packages, photography, specialty dining, and onboard shopping.
Little to experience here. Mayan ruins tours, but the beach had relentless vendors. However, we did have a nice, but expensive, lunch at Big Mama at the beach. They showed us the fresh fish prior to cooking it. Make certain that you know the prices before you order and check your bill carefully. They wanted a 10% surcharge for using a credit card.
Better than the two previous Mexican ports insofar as the stores had higher quality merchandise and you didn't need to run the gauntlet as you walked down the streets. Expensive and average restaurants.
We sailed on the Silhouette in December, she's a beautiful ship and I saw nothing tired a out her. A little more detail here would be helpful. Agree Tuscan Grill is not worth the cover, we did the Lawn Club Grill instead which was excellent.
