Every night I went to the casino. One of the guests paid for me to get a two hour massage at the spa. I got to go behind the scenes on the tour, the captain blew the horn especially for me when we left Pinta Cannah,

Because I am blind, me and my grandparents all got to go Way ahead of everybody else. My grandparents parents Were pretty please about this

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
I like the fact that there were staff there that gave me hand sanitizers, and to make sure that I got what I wanted to get. They also help me sit down and they even go as far as opening up my sodas or as we call in Canada, pop. As for the food, They were fantastic. Absolutely fantastic

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I played in the casino, and I even did the bridge tour.

Entertainment

Most of the entertainment and shows were all very visual for me. So I couldn’t really appreciate them

Children's Programs

I didn’t travel with any kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everybody was phenomenal. If I got lost they would always come to see if I’m all right. The assistant Front desk manager spent a good deal of time and even ate with me as well. Amazing staff you guys have. Amazing staff indeed. Even the captain became my friend. Even invited me to the captains club even though I technically wasn’t a number but only to see him for two minutes

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Every door and stairs and walls had braille on them so that I wouldn’t get lost. Even the casino door was in braille. Very impressive you guys. Very impressive

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
My inside cabin was perfect. More than enough space for me as I was the only one traveling. Perfect for someone who is blind like me. I guess they knew I was coming because they put my lifejacket in a safe spot so that if I needed to evacuate in emergency it would be there for me to find. Well done celebrity Y if you have a disability, the crew will make sure that they will go above and beyond to make sure that even with disabled have the best cruise ever and make them feel like a celebrity

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

This is of course where we got on the ship the first day. Pretty fast considered I am blind and everything

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island) Did not visit port

We were going to visit it but the seas were too rough for the tender to bring us to and from the ship. Oh well, at least it wasn’t our fault

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic Did not visit port

I was not interested in getting off the ship at all. Too visual

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

I sure love the fact that there were Caribbean music I even got a soda or pop there. I just bought my first drink from another country but I’ve never been to before.
