Celebrity is a great brand, just really disappointed in this old run down ship with employees that seemed to not be fully trained
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Flawless easy embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Main dining had a limited and repetitive menu with really no imagination. Specialty dining (Tuscan) Appetizers and Italian options were good to excellent, Husband’s steak was definitely not Prime as listed and I have seen better at a Sizzler.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We did trivia, good, Silent Disco was super fun and we loved the ABBA sing-a-long.
The pool games were disorganized and seemed to make the rules up as they went along!
Entertainment
1 out of 5
Celebrity needs more live music and better DJ’s I heard YMCA more in these 5 days than in my life! Magician Comedian was just embarrassingly awful, comedian was a disillusioned pastor wannabe.
The musical acts in contrast were quite good!
Children's Programs
No children with us.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Positive, curteous, and wanted to please but just poorly trained. Took endless attempts to get coffee in the main dining room for breakfast, tons of staff there in the morning but just not working together at all.
One day we had bad weather so they moved activities indoors but they refused to open interior bars. We had a room full in the ensemble lounge for trivia and the bar was closed. Had to go all the way to deck 14 for a drink. It is just laziness . Our room steward was excellent and attentive and addressed any concern we had immediately.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
The ship is clean, layout was fine, but old and really showing wear. The staterooms are particularly rough looking.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Loved the location and the view felt the beds were comfortable, but again desperately needs a remodel. Needs bedside outlets, better lighting etc. Just a cabin refresh
Ship tip
Book 1 specialty dining ahead of time! The main dining room will get old quick
No Celebrity excursion Key West is friendly and fun. We would describe it as a cleaner beachy version of Broadway in Nashville or Bourbon in New Orleans
Thanks for sharing. That’s a shame. We loved the ship and the employees were wonderful. We just went in October. We had a great time and loved everything.
