I loved our short 4 day cruise, and of course now I’m looking for another Celebrity cruise!

Food and Dining

With our cabin class we had access to Blu which we really enjoyed. The breakfasts were excellent and the night we had dinner there the Impossible burger was the best I’ve ever had. We had dinner one night at the Lawn Grill, which is also superb. The only problem we had there was as it was outside dining it got very hot – that’s a mother nature problem, not a ship problem though. I was fascinated by the hosts in Blu and the Lawn Grill, in that they didn’t wear a formal uniform. It was much more casual, and I definitely preferred it to the three-piece suits I’ve seen hosts and managers wearing on other ships. Other than the issue mentioned below, the breakfast buffet was also good – not as much variety as I’ve seen on other ships, but plenty of choice still. The American and English breakfast stations were a good idea too. We had dinner one night at the buffet and again simple, but good. Every meal we sat down to (where we were served) we were asked if we had allergies – we don’t, but I thought that little attention to guest welfare was excellent.
The ugly...in the breakfast buffet the eggs benedict was cold, and I found a nasty long dark hair in mine. We had room service one morning and the water for the tea was cold – not a good start to my morning!
Onboard Activities

We had access to the Grecian in the spa and it was very peaceful and relaxing. I also had a hydration and vitamin IV after I got a cold, and it was very professionally done.
Entertainment

The entertainment wasn’t all to our taste, but people seemed to enjoy it. I enjoyed the ABBA sing along the best! The quizzes were so difficult – the most difficult we’ve ever done!

Ship Quality

The ship itself was beautiful. The artwork was unique – the picture outside Blu moved! The layout was very effective in that the ship never felt crowded, and my favorite part…you didn’t have to walk through the casino to get anywhere! We never figured out if smoking was allowed in the casino, but we never smelled smoke at all. We also never came across any broken toilets or sinks – the ship was clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We had an Aqua class cabin and it was fantastic! Small, yes, but so clean and beautifully maintained. The mattress was perfect, and the only thing I didn’t like were the fluffy pillows – I should’ve asked for different ones. I appreciated all the small touches too – two bottles of water a day, chocolates at night, and beach towels delivered to the cabin, so no waiting to check them out.
Ship tip
We had a “let the buyer beware” issue – our internet package was the basic one and we didn’t realize all we could do was text (to other iPhone users) and read/send emails – social media kinda loaded, but sending or posting any kind of photos was a no-no. The other buyer issue was the drink’s package – we don’t drink much so took the basic package which had a cap of $10 per drink, and most of what we drink were over that value. You can still order, but just pay the difference. These issues were on us though for not correctly seeing what was included in basic packages.
We didn't do a ship excursion, but hired a scooter and puttered around. We visited Hemingway house (for the cats of course), and looked at the lighthouse, but didn't go it.
