Review summary

Had a wonderful time. The weather was pretty good and the seas were mostly calm. The vacation was very relaxing and I would definitely do another transatlantic voyage.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Luminae and Oceanview Cafe were both very good. Great service from all.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Fitness Center was good for an onboard gym. The pools were mostly empty all the time.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All the evening shows were excellent.

Children's Programs

Only 4 children onboard and none were mine.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff seemed happy to serve and we enjoyed talking with them.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship had plenty of places to sit and relax and they were all very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The decor is very tired looking. Arms of couch was worn as well as the chair at the desk. The cabin had plumbing problems that were never really fixed. The ceiling had a noise issue from a pipe rubbing but that was resolved. The cabin is in dire need of being refurbished. The balcony is huge so I would definitely book this cabin number again.

Ship tip

If you use onboard credit in the casino, you now need to play 10% to get money out.

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

Not really alot to do in the port area.

Cadiz (Seville), Spain

Very pretty port. Did the Destination Highlight: Cadiz Jerez and Osborne Cellars with Tapa". It was good but I would not recommend it because the guide was not very interesting and the Osborne Cellars was not worth the cost of the excursion.

Cartagena, Spain

5 out of 5
Wonderful port and easy to walk off ship and into town. Did the "Destination Highlight: Cartagena City Tour" and it was great because I got to see some great sights throughout the city.

Valencia, Spain

5 out of 5
Very industrial port. No walking to town but there is a shuttle for 10 euros round trip per person. Did the "Destination Highlight: City Visit and Oceanographic Museums". This was by far my favorite tour and well worth the cost. The tour around town was great because our group was small (12 people) and he was very nice. The Aquarium was excellent and we were able to see everything including the dolphin show.

Barcelona, Spain

5 out of 5
We disembarked at this port and stayed on for a few extra days. I cant wait to visit Barcelona again. The farmers markets are wonderful for food tastings and shopping. The city is pretty and there is so much to see.

Got off ship at 8:30a and did not have long lines but after that time, the lines got very long.
