Review summary

First cruise, and made us fall in love with cruising!

Embarkation

3 out of 5
We had concierge class, and were misdirected several times by port workers on where to queue that resulted in longer wait times than we should have had. To be noted though they are not employed by Celebrity.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We found the food to be excellent! Exactly why we had chosen a Celebrity Cruise. Only did a few nights in MDR and the rest at Specialty venues. We also found the buffet and room service to be great!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We did not participate in many activities as this cruise was about relaxation for us, but did attend the art lectures and auctions which we enjoyed.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the guest entertainment but were not a fan of the singers/dancers from Celebrity, felt the talent was sub-par.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff and service we received were excellent!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I loved all the artwork everywhere and the cozy areas where you could avoid crowds. The cleanliness was amazing! I’ve never seen someone cleaning every time I turn around. Made me feel very comfortable with cruising.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Loved our balcony cabin! Not sure concierge was worth the extra cost though.

Ship tip

Their game room was a hidden treasure for us with digital interactive games.

Ports of call

Basseterre, St. Kitts

2 out of 5
Booked cruise ship excursion to sail to Nevis and Beach, due to wind issues they took us to a less than desirable beach that was littered and had individuals selling drugs.

Bridgetown, Barbados

5 out of 5
Did ship excursion to snorkel with sea turtles and shipwreck in Carlisle Bay! This was an amazing experience and can’t recommend enough.

Castries, St. Lucia

5 out of 5
Lovely port, we did a catamaran cruise to the Pitons it was great, even though raining.

St. John's, Antigua

3 out of 5
Went on ship excursion that visited Shirley Heights, Nelson’s Dockyard and Beach. Shirley Heights was beautiful, but they took us to probably one of the lowest ranked beaches. Considering this island has 365 I wish we’d gone to a top beach for the day.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy process with options and services to customize.

We weren’t impressed with Concierge class either. Next time book Aqua class, it’s as close to Suite class you can get without the extra cost.
