Review summary

CEO Lisa is implementing fundamental changes to the operation of Celebrity. Changes cater to the young who have neither the time nor finances to fill ships. Cruised Edge in Mar, Reflection in Apr. Many changes, few of which I consider beneficial most harmful. Time to give up Loyalty and move on if things don’t go back to Celebrity Excellence.

Slow and confusing. One thing that sets Celebrity apart from the others is the champagne toast on boarding. This time they ran out?

We were in the Blu dining room and the menu seemed repetitive. Had duck on the menu 5 days in a row?

Tried to watch an outdoor movie from the lawn club, problem was they had closed the lawn area?

Professional shows were great as well as the comedians. Stage shows were high school quality with no scenary or costumes.

Noticed that the event scheduling and staffing was off. ABBA show held in the Grand Foyer was well attended by passengers but not a single waiter was present until 30 minutes after show started.

Ship tip

As a seasoned Capt Club member don’t expect the excellence of Celebrity past. The new CEO appears to be bent on pacifying everyone other than the 98% cruising clientele. Hopefully the Board of Directors will get wind of this and reign her in before it is too late.
