Review summary

Arrive one day before the start of the cruise to adjust for the time difference. stayed in a nice hotel by the coast. enjoyed the local beach. Took the train to the port city of Civitavecchia to board the Celebrity Reflection. Very enjoyable trip. The Celebrity Reflection is a beautiful and modern ship. Learned much from the shore excursions, relaxed and enjoyed the good atmosphere, shows including a flamenco show, Ole! and food, Including seafood Paella.

After a one night hotel stay in Fiumicino, took the train from Fiumicino to Civitavecchia, Italy to board the Celebrity Reflection. Smooth and trouble free arrangement.

Good variety of food served everyday. Go on a diet before boarding the ship to lose a little weight before you take advantage of the good food while on the cruise. It will be worth it.

Found one waitress in the buffet area to ask many questions about where I was from. Did not realize this was a requirement to purchase a sangria. Also room steward was not happy that I slept through my first port of call city.

The overall ship is clean, well maintained with the crew cleaning throughout the day.

Cabin / Stateroom

Fantastic stateroom enjoy every minute of it. The steward kept the room in a very clean condition. The room size is very manageable for two adults.

Ship tip

While very expensive sign up for WI-FI if you you believe you will need internet access in between ports. Hot spot internet service is spotty in port and not available in the staterooms in or when out to sea.
