Review summary

We loved our cruise. The suite was the largest and prettiest cabin we’ve ever had. The ship is beautiful and spotless. Each crew member smiled and greeted us without fail. The ports were great. Having a butler (shoutout to Allono!) was terrific. It was a wonderful vacation. Sailing on the Celebrity Reflection definitely raised our expectations for any other cruise.

Ports of call

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

We arrived two days early to explore Rome. It was wonderful!

Gibraltar (U.K.)

We loved Gibraltar. It was a lovely surprise to see how beautiful the views were. However, seeing Morocco in the near distance taunted me. I guess I will need to book a cruise with Morocco as a port:-)

Ibiza, Balearic Islands

Ibiza was disappointing to us. We expected there to be lots of options to head to a beach, but it was limited, and from what we heard, expensive.

Barcelona, Spain

4 out of 5
Surprisingly, Barcelona didn’t speak to us, even though we’re city people. We did a Hop On, Hop Off bus to get an overview of the city, and seeing Olympic City was nice. We ended up getting off the bus and grabbing a light lunch in a small, local place that was delicious.

Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France

LOVED Villefranche! We took the train to Monte Carlo, gawked like tourists, played some slots and roulette, and then returned to Villefranche to shop and eat. A very picturesque little town.

La Spezia, Italy Did not visit port
