A great first ever cruise. The Reflection was clean and well laid out. I would try a cruise again with more friends accompanying in order to have more a party type vacation.

Very smooth, room was clean and quite nice, well worth to pay for a veranda - after all this is a VACATION!!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Well, the MDR and buffet restaurant get old so fast. It was extremely well worth the extra money to pay for specialty restaurants - some of the food was phenomenal and the service was a cut above the rest!!! The Murano was sensational, as good if not better than fancy restaurants on land in any city. Tuscan Grille was excellent as well. We also enjoyed The Porch.

Murano Restaurant

5 out of 5

O,M.G. it was like we were in food heaven. Such an amazing gastronomical delight! The senses came alive and feasted on food fantasies and creations from this spectacular restaurant!!!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Fitness center was great, the pools were nice as well. No water slide or rock-climbing, yet there was plenty to do.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Very nice entertainment. The adults only comic time was great later at night. The Broadway review was lovely. Lots of musical entertainment throughout the ship at various times.

Children's Programs

No kids praise be!!!

Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip

Watch out for endless eating temptation!

My favorite cruise line and class of ship. The Solstice, the Silhouette, and the Reflection are very similar to each other in cleanliness, activities, quality of food, staff helpfulness and it's my favorite way to cruise. I love that I don't need reservations for shows, the flexibility in the main dining room to get out quickly,or linger or even get seated with new friends on a whim, whether I am eating at the requested seating or not. I think that I like the way that I can avoid the crowds or seek out the action without trouble. The people in the gyms are more considerate than the ones at my health club... That is important to me. I am a Celebrity fan, and really don't look forward to any cruise on another line, I have been spoiled. My husband is game for anything...

No reservations needed. Typically there are two shows/evening: an early and then a later show. The Reflection Theater has two levels and there were plenty of seats. The first night or two was a little more crowded than subsequent evenings, but never a problem for a party of two. Also there were handicap accessible seats and waiters came by for drink orders pre-show. Enjoy!

Thanks for the review...doing Celebrity and the Reflection for the first time in March. Do you have to make reservations for the comedy show like on RC Allure? Or just first come first serve?
