Relaxing Cruise, but could skip most excursions. Enjoyable entertainment. Captain was A++. Enjoyed the educational presentations, especially Mr. O’Shea.

Embarkation

We arrived at 12:30. Very busy with long lines. Staff member who worked with us was very friendly & even postponed a break to get us checked in

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was good, but not great.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Used fitness center. Very nice & included iced towels. Very small thing, but I wish they had a pounds to kilograms conversion chart for us challenged Americans.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Cast presentations were colorful & full of energy. The 1 person acts turned out to be very exciting & Chiko was super.

Children's Programs

No children with us

Service and Staff

Generally friendly. A good number would walk past with no greeting or acknowledgement. Captain was first class. A 6 star out of 5.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Clean & well cared for

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Clean & comfortable. Nice deck chairs. Comfortable bed & pillows. Shower was awesome...big enough to maneuver around without feeling cramped.

Ports of call

Bridgetown, Barbados

2 out of 5
Port was fine, but 4x4 with Harrison Cave was terrible. Harrison Cave was very interesting, but the ride turned to be the back of a truck with 5 people sitting on wooden bench seats. Ride was so harsh that my neck hurt for 3 days afterward

Castries, St. Lucia

4 out of 5
Bus excursion of island with volcano visit. Guide was super. Volcano was bubbling mud with sulfur smell.

Fort-De-France, Martinique

5 out of 5
This island & port are spectacular. Very clean. Tour of St. Pierre was disappointing. Ride over & back informative, but city itself involved a 15 minute stop. City is not ‘locked in time’. Expected something similar to, but smaller than Pompeii, but not even close
