Review summary

Dear Fellow cruisers, We were very disappointed in this cruise, as we booked on Celebrity's reputation as having great food in the main dining room, and we were very disappointed. Lackluster at best, and constant pressure to "upsell" to specialty dining. Three formal days and only lobster one night. The early dining was a disaster, and some waited 45 mins just to get seated. The specialty resteraunts were excellent though, but you have to pay extra of course. Carnival did a better job on every Carnival trip we were on concerning main dining hall eating. Celebrity staff and service were top notch, but the shows were very boring, especially for a long Trans-Atlantic like this. We reduced ourselves (light drinkers) to hanging out at the aft bar account the shows and the stuff to do were so boring. Luckily others felt the same way, and we made good friends at the back and just "hung out" together to pass the time. Ship was very clean and service top notch, but the Aquaclass and above area that is restricted to regular guests (real grass) was the most underutilized and boring area of the ship, what a waste!

Very nice

Ship tip

Never been critical of a trip before, but the main dining room was not up to standards. Specialty resteraunts were great, but you have to pay a premium to go, and a lot of the food in the specialty resteraunts used to be available in the main dining room, and now they would like you to pay extra
