A Nice Cruise

Sail Date: May 27, 2012

Ship was OK. It in theory just came out of a major reburbishment and the Aqua class cabin was nice. Loved the new shower glass doors; finally a door that doesn't cling to you posterior while showering! Blu the specialty restaurant was great and our service was outstanding every evening. The disappointing part of this cruise was 1) Celebrity put Aqua class on sale less than a month before the cruise meaning that I was charged about $400 more for the same cabin than other travelers who waited longer to book and 2) that Celebrity had not updated thier website for specialty restaurants prior to our departure. We could not pre-book Qsine for the night and time we wanted; only to find out after we boarded that numerous earlier boarders had already booked times and days we desired. The internet was on and off constantly the last two days of the cruise and most of the staff people were reasonably accomodating regarding package purchases and adjustments.

Pros: Blu, the specialty restaurant for Aqua Class Guests

Cons: The day before the cruise ended the rooms were being stripped of amenities, flowers, fruit, etc. as if the cruise ended that day!

Recommends Celebrity Millennium? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Thier food is very good; however, prepared for the "bland." A bit more spices could make Celebrity outstanding. The concept is there; it is always simply muted down!
Cabin / Stateroom
Love the shower doors!
Service and Staff
Would have been outstanding however, their was some male Phillipino staff member in the internet lounge who couldn't care two hoots about anything! His motivation seemed to be limited to getting up in the morning!
