A: I was there 8/20-8/27 2021. We got very lucky with weather, sun was out a lot, we had what felt like hot temperates for up there mid-high 70’s during the days. In the early morning on the day we “cruised by” the glacier, we probably sat close to in f... or 2 hours… it was pretty cold, but sun was still out, just coming up over the glacier actually. We were quite bundled, probably in the high 50’s.See More

Q: Has anyone taken the SkyTrain from YVR to the cruise port? How is the walk from the train station to the pier?

A: Answering my own question...The SkyTrain is OUTSIDE the actual airport, but a short walk, including stairs. You'll need a TWO ZONE ticket to ride...it's all automated and a little confusing. Ride the SkyTrain to THE LAST STOP and exit the terminal.... Walk about a block to the right and turn right. You should see the cruise terminal at Canada Place. About $18 for the ride for two. Simple...AFTER you've done it once...See More

A: Hi there. It is a 5 min. Walk from YVR to the Skytrain platform, 30 min. Ride from YVR station to the Canada Place skytrain platform and a 5 min. Walk to the port area. It is easy and have done it many times. Good luck.

A: There is no self service laundry on Celebrity. A laundry bag and price list is in your stateroom. The cost is per item and you enter how many of each item you have. It varies but I’d say the average is about $5 per item, wash and fold. As you can im... agine, you can quickly run up a laundry bill.See More

Q: We will be boarding the ship at 12 noon. We are aware that the rooms will not be ready until 1, but the app says our sea passes are on the door to our room. Should we go to our room even though it is not “ready” to get our Sea Pass? Can we drop off our carry on luggage? This is our first Celebrity cruise, we have RCLed many times.

A: Just got back from a celebrity cruise 2 weeks ago. Boarded the ship around 11:30 and went straight to our room. Got our Sea Passes, dropped off our carry on and left to have lunch. When we returned around 1 our luggage was at our door.

A: Hi. I was not able to on Carnival last week. Got on at noon and the rooms were not available until 1:30. They are actually cordoned off with closed corridors.

Answer QuestionA: It is generally quite difficult to upgrade your your once on the ship, especially if the ship is near capacity. You may have a better chance at the moment while they are sailing at reduced capacity but I would not rely on it. If you want to upgrade,... I would suggest doing it in advance. There is also the Celebrity MoveUp program which allows you to bid for an upgrade within 30 days of sailing, however you are bidding on a category, not a specific cabin, so you take the risk on the location of the cabin.See More

A: Depending on how busy the cruise is, it is usually recommended to make a reservation, especially if you are wanting a specific time or day. With the introduction of Le Petit Chef into Quine, it has had a resurgence of popularity. So with this in mind... , I would suggest making a reservation.See More
