Review summary

Overall the trip was excellent, not because everything was perfect but because the employees made the trip excellent. We had an outstanding Butler, Ricky and an outstanding cabin attendant Gil. In the Buffet for breakfast Leah made the trip outstanding. In the Blue I did not get the names but the lady that seated us always remembered our needs as did the wine steward and the waiter in the center table for 5 on the left. We tried table 1 and Table 3 but we were not as impressed by those waiters.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin is beautiful, electrical outlets are misplaced. The stall shower is wonderful but easy to flood because of the doors and no rubber water blocks on the bottom. The temperature control is erratic, either to cold or too hot. Both Ricky the Butler and Gil the cabin attendant were 10's. They did an outstanding job. There were two work tables in the stateroom but only the bedroom had electrical outlets. It was probably designed as a dressing table but it was the only place where outlets could be found for my CPAP machine and IPad. Better design would have prevented the use of extension cords. The living area work table was virtually useless for the IPad because it had no electrical outlets so we piled things on it.

Did not do an excursion in Fort Lauderdale. We parked the car and boarded the ship. The Park and Go service was excellent.

Very humid but a beautiful location. The trolly is open and the sun can beat on you. We are older so we had to cut the trip short. Mel Fisher's Atocha museum and gift shop were very nice. The ship docking area by the Navy pier is not as convenient as the downtown dockage. Docking at the Navy Pier requires a shuttle to the downtown to meet your tours.
