Review summary

Overall, this cruise was one of the best one that we have taken. It had 2800 guests and 1200 crew members. Only 47 children were onboard. They had 8 elevators, which never broke down. Now, that's important! The pools, hot tubs, shows, food, great service, wonderful crew and captain were superb! We will definitely book another cruise on a Celebrity ship! We now have some wonderful memories and pictures!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
The embarkation was one of the best ones we have had. Smooth sailing and no drama. It was fairly quick!. We were surprised of how quick we boarded the ship!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Amir, our room steward treated us like a king and queen. He was on point the entire cruise. Our dining room waiters were Alexandro and Linda. They were great! Wonderful smiles and personalities. Kristopher was one of the managers of the dining room. He was at our table every evening making sure that we were good! A young lady by the name of ElJoy in the Oceanview Cafe (buffet) She had the most beautiful smile and always made sure that we had everything that we needed. We really ate a lot!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It took us a few days to learn the ship but we got it. We actually loved the layout. We were expecting a little bigger foyer though. They had a few events in the foyer on the 3rd floor but we could never find a seat to be comfortable.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a Veranda, which made it very cozy and private. The overall size was good and the bed was comfortable. Our cabin was always kept clean.

Ship tip

Make sure you book a cabin with a balcony. You will not regret it!

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

We had an excursion on this port to The St. James Castle and Botanical Gardens. We were a little disappointed when we arrived at the Castle because it was closed due to a private event. We were told that we would be refunded 40% of our fee. I'm not sure how to go about getting that refund, but I do have a Customer Service number to call. It was booked through Choice Privileges, but ran by Cay Tours. It was 6 in our group.

Oranjestad, Aruba

We liked this port. We did do an excursion tour on the 2nd day there. It was very nice and informative. We booked our excursion through Choice.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
We opted to do the self disembarkation due to us having an early flight. We did have to take our own luggage off and rolling them on carpet was kind of difficult. But we made it through. It took us about an hour to get off the ship.
