Review summary

Great itinerary! The ship is well designed. Service in most areas was lacking from bar staff to shore excursions, room steward. Certainly not what Celebrity used to be like.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Excellent- it paid to buy the celebrity pass

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food options and meals were good. However the service was often slow and lacking.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The entertainment was excellent! Great pools and hot tubs. Only downside is people who took pool chairs in the early morning and left their stuff all day long. It was wonderful having an indoor pool.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Musical entertainment was fabulous. Ships dancers and singers were great. Entertainment in some of the smaller venues, was also great. Fantastic cruise director.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Certainly not up to past Celebrity standards all around. Room steward seemed to do only the bare minimum. I had to ask for something almost every day. Shore excursions staff not very helpful when we had 2 terrible shore excursions thru the ship.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ships layout was wonderful. Clean for the most part, except for women's bathrooms outside the dining room. The ship is showing its age, Carpets need to be deep cleaned or replaced. Balconies need new paint.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Size was adequate for a balcony room. Set up was nice. Rugs were dirty and stained. The bathroom was well appointed.

Ship tip

Book the celebrity pass if you are not in a suite.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

5 out of 5
Ease of getting to the port.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Yes we did the beach excursion to Coral Bay. Waste of money. Terrible beach all rocky. Was charged more money for a "private cabana" than was quoted on cruise ship. It was $250 not $200 like we were told and it was nothing like a private cabana.

Willemstad, Curacao

2 out of 5
Island tour shows us the dirty run down part of town.

Oranjestad, Aruba

4 out of 5
Beautiful island. Fantastic Sunset sailing cruise. Was disappointed to see so many stores and shops empty and run down. Covid has hit the islands economy hard.

Kralendijk, Bonaire

5 out of 5
Beautiful island. Fantastic excursion to see the salt flats, flamingos, and donkeys. Great beach stop at Sebastion's Beach.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
Very little organization for disembarkation. Very long wait for elevators 20-40 minutes on most higher floors. Lounges set for waiting areas did not have enough seating. No public announcements as to when to get off the ship
