Review summary

Overall we liked the cruise and had a good experience specially because we chose to stay in a suite. The cooks need to work on the food a little more.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was well presented and clean but not tasty. I felt they did not want people to eat much. Buffet was very busy. Silhouette restaurant seating was too crammed. Indian food had poor choices and the Rotis were warmed up tortillas which were stiff and not fit for consumption. Really, is it so difficult to make some chapattis? Puris were poorly made by people who did not know how. Butter Chicken, Aloo Gobi, Tadka Daal, Beef Hyderabadi were good but the rest were poorly made. Pulav Rice was nice but Indian food is incomplete without proper rotis or naan! Sweets looked very good but did not taste good. The Luminae was excellent mostly because of staff and seating. we enjoyed a good breakfast every morning. La Petit was a new experience but food was average. Specialty restaurants were mostly good. I feel for the money that people pay the food should be excellent. It was not.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Fitness center was very good with plenty of choices and I really liked the supply of cold towels after workout. The pools were small and overflowing with people

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The music and shows were very nice specially the standup comedian.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
There were many people with handicaps but none of the staff was attentive to them. You had to manage on your own.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Very nice design and common areas were well maintained

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was spacious with a nice balcony. The accessible bathroom was good but the toilet seat was not ADA compliant. I had to help my spouse on and off each time she wanted to use it. My back took a real workout! Our butler Sanjay was excellent and was a great help

Ship tip

Arrive early for lunch and dinner or else you will not find a seat.

Disembarkation

Was a little disorganized with porters trying to make some money. It would be nice to have some luggage carts as in airports
