Just don't cruise with Celebrity... We have done 12 cruises various lines and our first with Celebrity will be our last. Terrible customer service, gouge you every minute and the Equinox was worn and things every day did not work.. Hot Tubs, 3 elevators
Celebrity Equinox Cruise Review to Caribbean - Southern
So disappointed...I feel like we wasted our money...the ship was worn, elevators and hot tubs were not operational several times...No variety of food compared to other ships we have been on. My biggest complaint is that Celebrity does not care about its cruisers...would not even refund us $36 dollars for gratuities when they lost our luggage AND no one came to our room....I would have gotten off the ship mid cruise if I could have. Terrible experience. Customer Service is non existent.

Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Dining room service was excellent...Not enough variety in main dining room...food got worse the longer the cruise.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
The production shows were excellent...but overall a snooze cruise and very annoying cruise activities Director...
Entertainment

Production Shows were excellent...way above average.
Children's Programs

Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Our dining room staff were outstanding...the rest not so much...no staff member that we dealt with spoke English fluently enough for us to resolve problems. Easier to just deal with a broken sink stopper (I use my sink to rinse my bathing suit each day) and other issues than to try to communicate the problem...
Ship Quality

The ship was worn and although may have been clean, did not look clean. Will never cruise Celebrity again...room design did not work for us...bed was close to closet making it awkward for two tall people to get dressed.
Cabin / Stateroom

The layout of our room was awkward...bed right next to the closet and we are both very tall so were constantly getting jammed up going from the closet, around the bed to an area to get dressed...we actually loved being on the 3rd floor, my husband has mobility issues and since 3 elevators were not working one day and the ship was full of wheelchair bound people, we were able to manage going up the stairs to 4 and 5 for dining and shopping. I complained after I got home to Celebrity about charging us gratuities on departure day when one piece of luggage was lost until late and no one touched our room that night but they would not refund gratuities for that day as we requested. In our opinion, the gratuities were outrageous for the level of service we received...I let them know that Saturday of our cruise three elevators were out and a Hot Tub was out two days I know of and they said they checked with the ship and there was no report of this, so essentially called me a liar...and obviously the ship is not reporting equipment breakdowns...Hot tubs were overly crowded because of one being broken and no chain was put across indicating it was out of service so person after person got in only to find the whirlpool was not working...and I will add that we have never complained once in all the cruises we have been on till now...Celebrity just flat out isn't going to make it right if you have a bad experience because of them.
Confusing. We paid to be transported to the airport.. We met on the ship, but after you got off the ship, there was no one to help you figure out what bus, etc. I heard the same comment from several people.
