Review summary

Overall, I have gone on 4 cruises with Carnival and Royal and now Celebrity. This cruise felt like my Royal cruise, but it was a little bit fancier. There were fewer young children on this ship, too. I would say that this was my favorite, but I've enjoyed every cruise. I got the premium drink package and have some regrets about that. Mainly that I drank so much. The silent disco was also so much fun. It was a special time with family, and I felt like I got good value for the money I spent.

Embarkation

Really fast, easy and organized. Best of my four cruises.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The buffet was super crowded. It was really good food and I was satisfied, but not being able to sit with our large group was frustrating. Main dining was excellent, but some cruise favorites were not on the menu, like lobster. Shrimp cocktail wasn't offered each night. It was a great dining experience, but they had difficulty with our larger sized party. Overall I would give it 4.5 stars.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Lots to do on-board, but not as much as a bigger ship. The cruise was full too. The bars and lounges are amazing though. If you are into drinking and food, this is the ship. I never went in the pool because it was too crowded.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Went to comedy shows and laughed a lot. Several bars have musicians, too. The topper show was crazy but excellent. You will be entertained on this ship.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Talked with the staff a lot. They are pleasant and hard working. There is an emphasis on service and politeness on this ship. The staff is really hard working.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I love the artsy decor and fancy lounges. I love that the bathrooms have clothe towels to dry your hands. It felt like I was on a higher end ship even though it is starting to show its age. Very fancy and sleek.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Really comfortable beds. Though it was so hot we couldn't use our balcony

Ship tip

Don't sail during the heat of summer. All the ports were super hot, and the ship was fully booked. Also, if your wife doesn't drink alot, don't buy the premium drink package.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Bimini, Bahamas

Long walk and high prices. We did the shark snorkel, which was epic, but 50 people on a boat is just too much.

Cozumel, Mexico

Way too hot in summer. Playa Mia resort is nice, but it was so hot that sweat and sunscreen got in my eyes and burned them. Had difficulty opening. Y eyes for the rest of the day.

George Town, Grand Cayman

We did the scuba dive excursion. Highly recommend because the put an emphasis on safety. Beautiful waters.
