Embarkation

Didn’t appreciate the staff yelling at the lines but I think it was meant to be banter. Just felt a bit herded. It was however completed in 30 mins or so .

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
As aqua class we used Blu, same as last year. Staff and service as good as ever although the choice of menus and variety was not as good as before. Examples - only had steak twice , fish was limited. Feta or chilled soup as two starter options on same day poorly thought through if you are not a fan of these (we are, but many are not) and limits what’s available . Lobster was tiny portion although my husband was able to have a second one. Didn’t use MDR, but ocean view grill was best we’ve ever seen for food quality and variety. Once you get over the crowds and finding a table, it was ok. Didn’t use speciality this time( first time we’ve not done this in several cruises) due to high prices - $60 pp plus 18% gratuity. Just not worth it for us since the £is weak against the $ atm.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

Stage shows were v good and the on board singers and dancers some of the best we’ve seen. Other performers only average but ok

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Celebrity pick great staff and train them well. We always felt that they genuinely cared about our experience . The Blu staff throughout were exceptional as were the staff outside the ocean view grill each day.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Design looks a bit dated but we still enjoyed the public areas and everywhere was clean. The restroom sinks are a beautiful design but collect soapy scum in the corners which builds up and is unattractive and unhygienic.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Not the biggest but what we expected. Came prepared with extra extension sockets for charging electronics. Cabin and balcony clean.

Ship tip

The specialty restaurants are expensive. Experience the buzz and theatre of the Martini bar at least once!

Ports of call

Kralendijk, Bonaire

Booked a snorkel cruise with Seacow Bonaire independently. It was fab, the reef off Klein is fantastic.

Willemstad, Curacao

Loved this port! Fabulous history to walk around the town. Lunch in the square, then taxi to a beach

George Town, Grand Cayman

Disembarkation

On ship well organised. Shore side trying to get celebrity arranged transport was terrible. No clear directions, long lines in the sun and waited an hour in the heat whilst standing. Elderly folks in wheelchairs were subjected to the same. Could be better managed by Celebrity’s on shore team.
