Review summary
We could do this trip repeatedly! A good mix of port days and sea days. I think of it as therapy.Embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Silhouette Restaurant
Very good service. Menu was ok, not great, but steak or salmon was always available. Long lines on a couple nights. Reservations don't mean anything. Overall, pleasant dining.
Room Service
Took over an hour to have breakfast delivered.
Oceanview Café and Bar
We enjoyed the Indian food selections at lunch and once for dinner. And, of course, the ice cream. Other desserts looked pretty, but not so good. Salad offerings were good.
Cafe al Bacio and Gelateria
What's not to like! I started each day here.
Onboard Activities
Fitness Center
If you go very early they're not really ready for you. Equipment not always turned on. No water to drink until about an hour after opening.
Solarium
Our favorite hangout. Not crowded. Comfortable seating with seat cushions. Hot tubs were actually hot.
Lawn Club
Very unique feature.
Entertainment
Celebrity Theater
Evening shows were about 50/50. Comedians were not good. The one production show was very good. The Aretha show (by Asia) was really good. But there were a couple nights where they just seemed to wing it.
