We are completely sold on Celebrity. Previously, we cruised with Norwegian, and had wonderful experiences. But Celebrity seems like a cut above, for not a lot more, and in general, was a better fit for us.

In spite of a truly awful meal at Tuscan Grille, I still rate the food on this ship five stars. The Guest Relations manager, comped us a meal at Murano to make up for the poor experience at Tuscan Grille. This dinner was out of this world! We ate most of our dinners at Silhouette (Main Dining Room). The quality was superb, much better than what I'd expected, given my experiences on other ships. And the waiters were very professional. We also found our breakfasts and lunches at the buffet to be excellent.
Onboard Activities

Thoroughly enjoyed trivia contests, game shows and, especially the Super Bowl party on the lawn. My wife also made a glass bowl at the glass blowing class. Shout out to Heather and Ryan, who conducted the classes with grace and patience!
Entertainment

We saw every show in the theater, and these seemed unimaginative and repetitive. The comedian was hysterical!

Everyone was incredibly friendly and really came across as though they were invested in making every moment of the cruise special.
Ship Quality

The ship was beyond clean. But that didn't stop the crew from continuing to clean. Equinox is also very well laid out, and easy to get around.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was roomy and well appointed. There was sufficient storage space. Our steward was very attentive.
Ship tip
We had difficulty with the internet, and later came to find out we were not the only ones. There seems to be a problem that they are working to fix. Don't let it ruin your vacation. Also, if you go to Nassau, they tried a new company to run excursions to Blue Lagoon Island. Do not waste your time and money. Everyone from our ship was very upset with the quality of these excursions.
Though we had a decent excursion, if we had it to do over again, we would take a taxi to town, enjoy the sights, and spend the rest of the day at a beach.
This is another island where excursions are disappointing. You get taken to a bunch of tourist traps which are uninteresting. Best to take a taxi to Palm Beach or Eagle Beach.
