Review summary

I would like to express my opinion on getting the covid test within "2" days of sailing, this is a pressure I believe could be done in some way at the port with a rapid test. All in all it was a excellent trip, the 3 ports have just recently opened so locals are very happy to see the passengers.

If you have the "free" tips, drinks and WiFi. You'll want to tip more, $9 cap on drinks, WiFi is a joke.

Took a 2 hr site seeing from a local who took us to local places most people don't see. His name is "Hart" believe me you won't be disappointed!!!!!! Best $20 I spent on this trip. Also many shops are still closed.

I believe the restriction for 2 day Covid test prior to embarkation is to push you to buy their on line kit for 69.00 and do it virtually.

We are sailing the 15 day Panama Canal on Millenium in a few weeks…planned everything with a 3 day window for testing, then Celebrity threw the 2 day testing window at us…scrambling to find a place in San Diego to get free testing.

Appreciate your feedback. I agree that the testing two days before is stressful and I would prefer an easier way (actually I’d prefer no need to be tested). Glad you enjoyed your cruise, in spite of that.
