Review summary

So disappointed with this cruise. The food wasnt good. The curtains to our veranda door was torn, dirty and full of holes. The carpet thread bare and stained. Our balcony had water dropping on us from the hot tub in the suite above. Getting a poolside or even close lounge chair dont happen. Staff was 10/10, the ship itself was a bust. No plugins in the bathroom and only 2 in the entire stateroom, with neither by the bed.

Getting a chair by the pool was next to impossible. Other passengers would place towels in multiple places at night to have chairs in different places for the next day, celebrity did nothing to monitor this. Many of the other passengers were very upset by this

I just wondered if you happened to mention any of these complaints to guest relations. In my experience if there has been something not right they go out of their way to make it right. If you complained about torn curtains and no one came and replaced them then you can give a negative review. We have cruised with Celebrity many times and we have found the service outstanding.

I have never seen outlets in the bathroom except for the one for electric razors. I always take a 3 way plug for the cabin so I have plenty of outlets. And the ship is going in to dry dock in May so it will be all bright and shiny and new. Have been on the Equinox 4 times and will be back on again.

We were on Equinox in December (3 couples) and everyone loved the ship, food, drinks and our staterooms. We had a regular veranda room closer to the back. We had 2 meals in the buffet and dinners at the main dining room - both delicious. Very sad if everything went down 10 months later but I have my doubts about it.

Sorry to read that... We loved the ship (Sept cruise) and our stateroom and also thought the food in the buffet (apart from Cunard) was the best we’d had at sea... We did have a concierge class balcony so maybe they are in upgraded condition? We thought there were plenty of outlets but we carry multi-plugs so maybe that was why...
