Review summary

Third time on this ship and we noticed several cutbacks in quality and offerings. I love sailing and we have been spoiled because we have had a sky suite in the past. Since we were taking our daughter and her husband, we took a lesser cabin. The staff were very nice and helpful and after one bad experience in the main dining room, Duarte (waiter), Viviano (asst. waiter) and Belinda (sommelier) were perfect.

Most nights in the main dining room were fine, but our second night we were seated at a different location with different staff. We were basically ignored and my daughter whose fish was not prepared well left almost all of it on the plate and not questions were asked. My daughter is 42 - so not a child. My husband also had a problem with the same meal. After that night and a discussion with the Maitre D, we were returned to our original station and the wait staff was wonderful.

Our room steward was very nice and helpful. My husband and I did notice that there were several 'cut backs' in several things on board. Our bathroom wasn't replenished with toiletries ever.

The cabin was fine but my husband and I are spoiled from having a sky suite for our last cruise. And a sky suite for an upcoming cruise on the Edge.
