We had a very enjoyable vacation on the Equinox. Service was very good with one exception. I would recommend the Cruise line and the ship.

Overall the food and drink was good. I am withholding a five star rating because of the slow service on two nights at Sushi on Five. The food was good enough, but it took over 1 1/2 hours to get our main entrees. When we asked the server he said it was due to the way we ordered?? Food and service at Murano's, Luminae, Tuscan Grill was five star. Special kudos to the staff at Luminae

Overall good. Ashlie Amber was very good, the two comedians were good. We are not a big fan of the stage productions and that's more us than the performers.
Service and Staff

Service & Staff were excellent with the exception of Sushi on Five. Our Butler, Gordonana was superb, Rex, our room attendant was great.
Ship Quality

The ship was very clean. We did not like some aspects of the ship's layout versus the Royal Caribbean ships. For example, Michael's, (the Concierge Lounge) which is reserved for Suite guests was dark and uninviting. The room was large, but had not windows. As a result, very few people spent any time there. On other ships, a nice variety of hors d'oeuvres are served in the Concierge's lounge. Other lounges are on the outside of the ship and have windows, providing a great ocean view. The entry on the 5th floor to the Specialty Restaurants was also very dark and unappealing. The entertainment provided on the 4th floor had to literally set up in the walkway to the elevators, and as a result, now well attended. The Sky Observation Lounge in the front of the ship was beautiful with multi-story windows and a great view. Service there was great.

Enjoy the restaurants off-ship. Faro Blanco Restaurant near the California Lighthouse is fantastic. Passions on the Beach is great for seafood. Tables are literally on the water. Plenty of time to explore here.
