Sooooo relaxing

Sail Date: November 21, 2014

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We found the total experience on the Equinox to be extremely pleasant and relaxing. We sailed in Aqua Class. We loved the food in Blu and the steam rooms in the Persian Garden. Ports were great. Wish I was still on board!

Ship Quality
Beautiful ship, well laid out
Food and Dining
Food in Blu was excellent. Always well prepared, and lots of interesting choices.
Service and Staff
Anna, who took care of our cabin, was wonderful
The Equinox Cirque-style show is fabulous. We're not crazy about singing/dancing shows, but there were other options, including a comedian and juggler.
Children's Programs
Didn't bring any, and there were few children on this particular sailing
Onboard Activities
Many of the daytime activities have become about selling products.
Destinations and Excursions
Only did one excusion, the Champagne Snorkeling in Dominica. It was excellent. Ports were nice.
Cabin / Stateroom
I like that Deck 11 has an overhang from the deck above that provides shade.
Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida
Didn't do much but get on and off the ship. Wow, is parking expensive! Car was covered in salt when we returned.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Good shopping, lovely beaches.
Basseterre, St. Kitts
Beautiful island.
Bridgetown, Barbados
Had a wonderful experience snorkeling off Carlisle Beach - saw sea turtles!
Roseau, Dominica
Really nice diving!
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Was OK as we were the only ship in this port on this trip, but can get really crowded. Shopping seems to have become all about jewelry stores.

The desserts at the coffee bar are available for take away!
