The Celebrity Equinox is a beautiful ship, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the sitting areas are great. What is not so great is that the average age of the passengers is 60+ so all of the entertainment is geared to a much older audience. The food in the dining rooms is very ordinary and quite disappointing compared to Princess or Carnival. If you are under 50 and want a fun trip then select a different cruise.

Highly recommend upgrading every night to the Tuscan Grill ($30 per person / meal option)
Entertainment

The shows were boring, and the theatre had a lot of obstructions or limited sight of the stage (not acceptable on a modern cruise ship). In addition there was an A Capella group, Full Tilt, who did the same boring routines over and over again, I enjoyed them the first time but would have gladly thrown them overboard by the end of the cruise (are Celebrity hard up for entertainers?). There was a great singer from the UK and a Hypnotist that did one night guest appearances, they were first class. Also there was a wonderful band from the Philippines but they kept moving them out of the Sky Lounge to the main lobby so you couldnt really enjoy them and party, a real shame.
Service and Staff

We paid for Concierge Service, but the reality was we got the same service as everyone else, never met a concierge, but we did receive a welcome onboard and introductory note from someone who claimed to be our Concierge, unfortunately this was on the final night of the cruise. Not impressed!

Storage space in the balcony rooms was very limited. There is no place to put your suitcase other than taking up precious space in the wardrobe
Pros: A very niceship with an excellent Tuscan Grill
Cons: Food was very disappointing (unless you upgraded), entertainment is not good
