Review summary

We totally enjoyed this cruise! The ship is beautiful and new. The staff was welcoming and most we talked to had years of experience with Celebrity. Our cabin steward has over ten years with Celebrity! The infinite veranda is a great way to see Alaska! Do not try to do this trip on the cheap! We did as much as we could financially afford as this was possibly a once in a lifetime trip for us. Get out and meet the locals. Take time to chat with your crew! Your trip is about the experience. Get out there!!!

Great! All done on the app, so it was easiest we have experienced!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All food was typical Celebrity. We also did the Steakhouse and Eden. Both specialty restaurants were great experiences.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
It was a little cool for outdoor activities, but they did happen for those that were good with being outside. We enjoyed the spa as well as the other activities.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All musicians were top quality and the stage shows continue to impress with acrobatics and water features in the shows.

Service and Staff

Room Stewardess Lucy was great! With over ten years experience, she was seldom seen! She was in and out keeping our cabin tidy and made up for us.

Ship Quality

Newer ship, so not too many things that could be done. Ship is amazing!

Cabin / Stateroom

Loved our Infinity Veranda room! It suits the Alaska itinerary perfectly! Bed was comfy and pillows however you like them.

Ship tip

EXPLORE! This ship has so much room, I don't think we saw all of it! Our best secluded spot would be the Aft Bar!

Ports of call

Port was great. City has a big problem with drugs and homelessness. We enjoyed the Space Needle and the Chihuly Glass Museum along with Pike Place Market!

Ketchikan, Alaska

We did the Boatman Adventure, and inflatable tour from the app shipmate. Had a great time. Had time to explore town. Town is cute and Creekstreet was great to see the Salmon run.

Spent the whole morning taking photos along the way and enjoyed our onboard naturalist giving information as we cruised through.

Did whale watching with Mendenhall Glacier. Did this through the cruise line, and with an early departure time, it was well organized and we saw a LOT of whales. Humpbacks and Orcas were around us for quite a while!

Skagway, Alaska

Did the train ride up and a stop at a suspension bridge! Booked through Shipmate and had Anna Early as a tour guide. She got us the last car on the train giving us great views from the back that no others were able to see.

Another excellent time of seeing nature! We saw Orcas and Right Whales along the way.

We did a 10 hour trip to Whistler. Another trip booked with the app shipmate. Our guide was able to offer us a seaplane tour, that we jumped on. This was the excursion of the week!!!
