Review summary

Celebrity never disappoints! We have been on over 35 cruises on Disney, Royal and Celebrity and Celebrity is by far our favorite. The level of service and accommodations is far above most other lines. We have found our cruise home.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was seamless and fast. If you do your checkin online, it just takes minutes to get on the ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food is always amazing on Celebrity. We were Aqua Class, so we ate in Blu every night of the cruise. We have eaten in all of the specialty restaurants on Celebrity ships, but Blu is so consistently excellent, we didn't book any specialty dining.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I enjoyed Zumba and Zumba in the pool, along with stretching in the morning. My husband and I attended all of the trivia and really enjoyed the table top escape room experience.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment on the ship was AMAZING! The production cast was excellent and did FIVE production shows on an 11 night cruise. They were all FANTASTIC! They also did 2 30 minute late night shows in the Club.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service is always top notch on Celebrity ships.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The Edge Class ships are beautiful! The one thing I didn't like was the lack of a Sky lounge for parties and gatherings. Using the Martini Bar for one of 2 main gathering places took away one of my favorite things about Celebrity ships. A martini bar where you can gather and talk without constant music and bands and inability to find a table.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was AMAZING! The bathroom was the best we have ever had at sea. The heated mirror was awesome. The shower was large and well appointed. Storage was good in the cabin. I am ambivalent about the infinite veranda. Our cabin had trouble cooling back down after we had it open and there are times when one of us wants to be on the balcony and the other one wants to take a nap. Since the air conditioning cuts off when the veranda is open, it makes that difficult. It also doesn't really feel like you have a veranda. We did like the breeze it brough into the room when we were sailing.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

We were only there for an evening.

George Town, Grand Cayman Did not visit port

Been there many times

Cartagena, Colombia

It's easy to get off the ship without an excursion and wander the port area that has an aviary and lots of exotic birds and a few animals. You can also get a cab or a bus easily that will take you to the Old Town area. Vendors can be aggressive though.

Oranjestad, Aruba

Really appreciate your comments about the infinite veranda…those we things I was wondering about. Sounds like you had a lovely time.

I agree about Celebrity being the best. Even though we’ve been on 10 cruises and loved them all, Celebrity was always the best with food and staff. Haven’t been on any of the newer ships, and haven’t cruised since Covid started do miss it so much. Glad you enjoyed it.
