Highly recommend the Celebrity Edge. Beautiful ship with a fantastic crew all with great attitudes. Enjoy!
Embarkation

Extremely easy and fast onboarding process. A party of 4 were able to onboard in about 15 min. Very well organized.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We were in the Aqua class section and had access to the Blu dining area. We never had to wait to be seated and the service was always amazing. We continuously felt like we we’re getting special treatment. The food in Blu is very good and if we didn’t want something off the Blu menu we could request a meal from the Celebrity menu.
We at a couple specialty restaurants and really enjoyed the Eden Restaurant and the Rooftop Cafe. Both restaurants food were incredible. It was difficult to get a night where we could get into the Rooftop cafe as th weather was fairly bad for a couple days, but once we got in it was excellent.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We were never board. There is always something to do. Biggest issue is finding a chair by the pool on sea days, but I think that is also an issue on most other ships.
Aqua class also has access to the spa rooms. We really enjoyed spending an hour or so in the various sauna rooms relaxing on the sea days as well. The gym had all the equipment you need to get a solid workout in. It was good size and had plenty of options for your workout.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The shows which were in the Theater were very good when they included the orchestra, dancers, acrobats, and singers. However the shows were they brought in talent seemed a bit cheesy, but for an hour show it was fine.
The venues at the bar were fun, with what seemed to be very good talent in the Martini bar as well as the Eden bar.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We always felt the staff was extremely positive and polite. Each person from the Captain to the executive staff to the attendant’s to the servers were all amazing.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Beautiful ship! Always clean and well taken care of. The Magic Carpet furniture is getting worn, but I’m sure it will get changed out soon as none of the other venues had furniture that was worn out.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Very nice cabin with an excellent attendant, Agneya! We like the traditional balcony better than the ultimate veranda, but it is a trade-off of sorts. A balcony provides a nice outdoor space, but the ultimate veranda adds space to your room and is nice to have when he weather is bad (in which we had 3 days were the wind and rain were pretty heavy).
The shower setup in the Aqua rooms are very nice as they give you 4 different options when showering. We were very pleased with the cabin.
Ship tip
The ship design is amazing, you’ll love it. It can get a bit confusing getting around at first, but utilize the app when heading to a venue or restaurant and you’ll figure out the ship nuances fairly quickly.
Went to Atlantis. It’s very expensive, but we had a great time.
The port area is very chaotic. There were 4 shops in the port the day we were there and it seemed extremely busy. Beautiful place once you get out of the port area.
We weren’t sure why Celebrity stops here. It didn’t seem safe. I suggest you take a guided excursion if your going to get off the ship. Vendors are very aggressive here and will hunt you down quickly if your not in an organized group.
Nice stop, we enjoyed Palm island. The weather unfortunately did not cooperate well. It was rainy and windy, but we made the best of it as they have plenty of covered seating areas you could duck into when the rain came in.
Very safe area to explore.
Beautiful island, very clean. We went on the Corral Reef excursion. Most of the beach had washed away so you can’t lay on the beach, but they had plenty of seating a short walk away and downstairs to the water.
We very much enjoyed the beach area in Fort Lauderdale. Plan for traffic as it got really heavy in the afternoon.
The distance from the port to hotels and the airport are very close.
Quick and easy. The hardest part was finding space in the elevator to get down to the debarkation area. We were through the process, including Customs in about 20 min.
Note, there were quite a few elderly people on the cruise and the debarkation process seemed to be a bit stressful for them as there is a lot of walking. I suggest if you have trouble getting around give yourself extra time or get access to an attendant who could help you through the process.
