Review summary

This was the first time i cruised on a ship i had been on before. I tried more specialty dinning and also this was my first time to the more middle-western Caribbean (had been to Panama). Overall it was a good trip. The music on the ship was much improved, though the overall service seemed to not be as good as i remembered it to be.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation went much faster than i expected. I had all of my documents ready, and after checking on a few things i was on the ship. All in all it took less than 20 minutes!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I decided to try more specialty dinning on this trip and was well pleased!

Le Petit Chef at Le Grande Bistro

5 out of 5

This was my second time dining at this event. We had the Le Petit Chef and Family, the show was much better than tje previous one i saw a few years ago, and the meal was excellent! I will definitely keep going to this!

Raw on Five

5 out of 5

This was my favorite spot for this cruise. I ate here 2 of the nights and also had lunch here once. The food was excellent and the crew were great to be around!

Cosmopolitan Restaurant

4 out of 5

I only ate here one night. The Onion soup was excellent, and the serving staff was wonderful. My only issue was that they only would serve specifically what was on the menu for that day. On the last full day, they were open for lunch. I had hoped for more on tbe French onion soup, but was denied, so i left disappointed.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I did not do too many activities on board, but they were readily available.

Eden

4 out of 5

I was apprehensive about dining here as i did not wish for tbe in-your-face dining show that was advertised. Thankfully that was not happening on this voyage, though i left still hungry so this night i also had room service. A good experience, but i will likely not repeat

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I did not go to amy shows, but the music was terrific at mamy of the lounge areas like the main atrium and at Eden.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The services were fine, but the crew seemed to still be getting used to their activities and jobs.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was clean and well organized. Overall the ship was easy to navigate, though the Concierge office was tough to find as there were no clear routes to get there. Crew had no problems, but they live on tbe ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
My cabin was well looked after by the steward and had plenty of room. Storage was not a problem and and the bed was almost too comfortable! Only sort of drawback was that the infinite veranda, as i was on an end of a row of rooms, so one wall kind of extended a further 3 feet beyond the end. Still got great views though.

Ship tip

Make sure to tour the ship early so you know where things are, and learn the important numbers if you need/want to call for anything. I had troubles figuring it out how to call room service.

Ports of call

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

4 out of 5
I did not do a whole lot at Roatan. I stayed mainly in the port, tried the local food, and decided to get a fish-foot massage on a whim. This area was still recovering from weather at the overall recent shut down.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

4 out of 5
I have never been to Mexico before. I took a Mayan Ruin tour, and got to see the Mayan ruins, and was able to climb up some of them. After the tour, i stayed in the touristy area, got lunch at a "Taste of Mexico," not sure what i got but it was delicious. Chose not to visit the dolphins there this trip.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
I did a Nassau Bahama bus tour as this was my first visit here. I really enjoyed learning about this city, a d got to try local rum! After the tour, i still had time so i walked around the touristy area, bought my obligatory shot glass, and had linch at a local Greek restaurant where i had my first Conch Fritters. I look forward to visiting Nassau again someday.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Debarkation was clean and easy. There was some confusion about getting groups together, but after that it was seemingly just a walk-off.
