Review summary

Service was great until COVID struck, can't blame them for that. I can't move past the "Veranda" cabins.....what were they thinking?

The servers we had were great, problem was, the ship was understaffed towards the end of the cruise. We had two room stewards disappear after the second day, probably COVID.

Cabin / Stateroom

Celebrity is trying to redefine the word "Veranda". The veranda cabins are nothing but an enclosed patio with a sliding window. If you leave the shade up, the room temp shoots up to the high 70's. If you sit on the "Veranda", the meeting rail on the window is right at eye level. We had to leave the shade closed most of the time, might as well get an inside cabin. For future cruises, I will avoid the ship class.

Ship tip

Don't expect a real veranda/balcony cabin.

Edge is an amazing ship. I agree about the infinite verandah. Rather than give up on the E class, try a Sunset Verandah. It’s a true balcony with great views of the wake.
