Review summary

The Edge is an incredible ship. Service was wonderful. There is a lot to do if you take advantage of it. The food in the buffet was terrible. The other restaurants were just ok.

Besides being a beautiful ship, the Edge has the most professional, caring, and kind crew I have ever encountered.

Don’t sail during COVID. The excursions were just sad and nothing was open.

I took an excursion on a beat up bus. I witnessed nothing but poverty. Very depressing and uncomfortable. Not well-managed.

We were on same sailing. Sorry you didn't like the food, it's a shame. Did you not try anything else? We personally had the time of our lives. The buffet was good for breakfast. We only ate there for dinner the last night. Now not everything ticked my fancy but I made the best of it. Went and got some fresh bread & had them give me fresh meat and whala a beautiful sandwich!🤣 (SIDE NOTE, I was told because we only had 840 people on the ship, they didn't offer everything they normally would have at the buffet during a normal sailing, they loose to much money because not enough people to consume everything...) Everywhere else we dined at the food was great. The crew was top-notch, entertainment blew Royal's Oasis class ships entertainment out of the water (sorry and we are big Royal fans) we were wowed every night! We already booked Apex for next year!!😁 We went on the double decker bus tour for St. Marteen, and yes the island is still struggling from hurricane Irma. But we looked past that....rum tasting, cheese tasting stop, picture stops, Maho beach, etc. Again, had fun because we were greatful to cruise again and had a great time. We went in with open minds. Maybe do a land vacation next time? Not trying to be rude but most of us were willing to do whatever to cruise again.😉 Good luck in the future...
