Review summary

Beautiful ship in and of itself but will not be sailing on her again. May try another Celebrity ship but things need to change a bit on the Edge.

Some Shows were very interpretive and artsy, some just not connected. Not interesting or even intertwining at times. Many walked out. However Ashlie Amber did a tribute to Whitney Houston that was fantastic, the comedian was very good and one show, A Hot Summer Nights Dream was very good! Most other activities had low attendance and not attractive to most guests.

The best service I had on the whole ship was a restroom attendant named Haibo! She was so sweet and kind, helpful no matter what you ask. Other staff were abrupt and not engaged. Sat thru two meals in buffet and no one offered a drink to our table. One lady ask where she could go with her friends and was told that this ship really didn’t market to her demographic! You can’t get service in some smoking areas. I only saw my room Stewart twice. The concierge was totally no help at all.

Room was clean and comfortable but did not enjoy the infinite balcony.

Ship tip

If you want to mostly sit and relax this may be the ship for you. If you want more fun and activity probably not.

Do not go on the beach break tour! Paid 88$ for a ride to a beautiful beach area but the place was a dump! They provided nothing. Yard sale looking loungers were 20$ 1$ to wash off your feet! 50cents for a 40 second shower. There was no water in restrooms to wash your hand or flush toilets. I do believe the water issue was fixed befor we left but we could have taken a cab over for 18$ . Total rip off! Nasty amenities.

Best excursion on the whole trip. Island is beautiful! Had a great day!!! Did a catamaran snorkel and swim with a great team, lunch and plenty of rum punch! Then took another water taxi to town for some shopping and sight seeing. Best day by far!

I sailed on Edge and had fabulous service. Our room attendant was amazing and we only had 2 poor experiences with wait staff during the entire 9 day cruise. Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy it.
