Review summary
In one word, Bad. Such a disappointment. Stateroom Infinity porch is not as good as standard door with drapes. When opened, creates humidity. Can’t peak out in morning. No feeling of being outside. Too small! Lack of lighting control in bathroom. Aft bar awful, no shade, too bright white, too hot, no wind barriers. So uncomfortable! Overall - limited outdoor bars without shade. Makes one wondering where to go... there is nowhere. Mediocre bar service everywhere accept at the Martini Bar. Unfortunately, they eliminated the ‘Ice Bar’ that the Reflection has. The Garden has no bar and stinks from a foul, daily consistent odor. The intimate couch arrangements are not comfortable as we just don’t want to be ‘on the spot’ to necessarily relax with others! We might, but not in such a forced way. Redesign. All bars have limited draft selections that make no sense. Music overall just ok, lack of excitement. Hot tubs are not located on same level of main outdoor pool, not as much fun or accessible. Food is fair overall, at best. Lights shouldn’t be placed on bar corners. They’re in the way. No clothing hooks inside state rooms No music inside state rooms! Zero, really! No place to walk or relax near the Edge. Just the opposite as the ship suggests it has?!? Stern glass atrium is crooked, bad exterior design. Health care facilities did not diagnose flu properly. We’re not concerned with well being at front desk, said they were closed, come back another time. Desk attendant unfriendly. Magic carpet served nothing, not even nuts. No coasters, wet bar to put your arm on. Uncomfortable. No cozy intimate bar areas, few too bars. Too few bar stools at bars. Just no where to go! Crappy beer glasses at outdoor bars. Not good. Stern of the ship is a perfect place for a fabulous bar (where Eden is). Eden has wasted the area. Ugh! Dish racks are in view while dinning. Even ‘Dirty’ dishes sign is visible from the table in Tuscan. Exercise area not well designed Grand Parlor not so ‘Grand’. No festive feeling. Dull. Generally the feeling from staff- they’re not so happy. We were the only couple in the Magic Carpet for over an hour and ignored by the bartender. Over 4 rating in scale 1-10; and that’s generous. ———— At least some bright spots- Stateroom and bath overall very nice, well designed Stateroom lighting excellent Great water pressure and drain in bathroom Ship is easy to navigate Tuscan restuarant service was excellent Exterior of ship is absolutely beautiful except for the crooked stern. Looks stupid. Excellent mixed drinks Good wine Excellent stateroom steward Gangway is very well done Has anyone in management spent time as a guest would? Not in the suite level, but in the Concerige level and down? It would be a good idea! Those are the guests that pay for the boat! The marketing videos that celebrate how great the ship designers and CEO are should be eliminated. Celebrate your guests instead! The truth.Embarkation
