Service is much improved from the last couple years.
Overall management seems pretty grim. They all need training at Chick-fil-A or some other good service organization. Smiling and offering to help goes a long way. "Our policy" is not a good answer to anything. Why is it your policy?
An additional charge for internet service "because the service that you bought won't work" isn't encouraging. When the additional service you buy still doesn't work "because there aren't many satellites in this are" is even worse. The ship is going back and forth on the same route; don't they know what works?
Embarkation
1 out of 5
There was no explanation of the process. Uber drivers went to the location of the Celebrity pier; then we had to get another driver to take us to the off-site drop-off location where we had to take a Celebrity bus to the original location.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Main dining was very good; sushi on 5 was great; buffet was ok.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
too cold for pool. Most of the activities were junky to me but I know that some people like them. I didn't do a cruise to do game shows. I found out about the guy doing science lectures at the end of the cruise. He was very good.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Production shows great. a couple of good entertainment groups in lounges, but they were scheduled strangely -- at the same time as the production shows, and very little on ship days when they were most needed. You could have skipped the NYC3 group -- barbershop quartet music by 3 people.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
room steward great; "customer service" group poorly staffed and poorly trained. It's like no one has ever done this before. Don't you have some idea about when there would be a lot of people coming? Same applies to internet staff. Don't you know that lots of people are going to need help at the beginning of the cruise? And why does almost everyone have to need service? Can't you make this simple? And can't you make it work?
