Celebrity is a great cruise line, ship is clean, staff friendly and ports of call nice. A great vacation to see nature at its grandest. I’m a beach person but so happy I did this Alaska cruise and enjoyed the cool weather to escape the summer heat in New York. So cool to see eagles, whales, bears and mountains and nature unspoiled by big cities. Beautiful!!
Embarkation

Got to pier around 10:30, was onboard by 11:15. Very organized at Canada Place in Vancouver.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Main restaurant Moonlight Sonata had great staff, did select dining and waited less than 5 minutes with the exception of one night. Buffets had many selections but could be very crowded. Prefer dining room when open.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Used spa and it was delightful, but don’t like how they try to up sell their services. Watched whales off ship while sitting in solarium hot tubs, awesome. Silent disco is always fun.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Dancers and shows were good especially the speciality strength couple and acrobats. Comedians were fun except one.
Service and Staff

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was nice and balcony is great to view the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Bathrooms have ample space more than other cruise lines.
Ship tip
Ship is beautiful and service is great, enjoy your vacation!
Port is simple, did a scenic tour which was informative. Saw the bears at fortress of bears, was neat to see brown bears up close. Pretty little town. Little kids selling things they made by bus drop off which was cute. Great store at ship port to buy souvenirs.
Did whale watching and got to see rare bubble net humpback feeding. Awesome!! Beautiful city. Must stop in to Red Dog Saloon, takes you back to the Wild West, have a famous duck fart shot, yummy! Tracy’s Crab Shack has the best king crab legs, bisque and crab cakes, a little pricey but worth it, shared a combo with hubby. Ship actually offered same special on ship.
Saw lumberjack show, it was okay. Walked around town, very warm. Wished I did a float plane trip as weather was perfect for it, heat wave there. Only sunny day on cruise. Cute little town and pretty flowers.
Very smooth disembarkation and lots of staff onshore to direct you. Used the ships transfer to airport, well organized and some info about Vancouver from driver.
