Review summary

Over all this was a wonderful cruise, but I think I liked the Silhouette much better. I would rather have the lawn club grill than the Corning Glass show. Also the ship and crew was a notch better on the Silhouette.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation was quick and easy. Arrived at the port around 11 and walked straight up to the check in desk in the suite line. It only took about 15 mins to check in, get our pictures taken and receive our set sail passes. The Conciege walked us straight on the ship and took us to Michael’s Club.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Our main dining room was Luminae and it was fantastic. Are at Tuscan grill twice, first time was so good we booked it again for another day, but the second time it was terrible, long waits for the waiter, food arrived cold, the waiter just seemed to be spending more time talking to people than paying attention to getting the orders and serving. Not looking for a new friend just want to have a stress free night and get waited on. We also ate in the French restaurant (can remember the name) and it was wonderful service and food, wish we would have done this one twice instead of Tuscan. We ate at the buffet for lunch a couple of times, but not a fan. Food is just so so, people like to congratulate in the buffet and read, play cards, and just take up space and not even eating, this made it very hard to even find a place to sit and eat. Loved Michael’s Club, but it was not very exciting most nights it was almost dead. Martini bar was always to crowded to enjoy, so hung out at the live music bars. Service was great in all the bars except the martini bar.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had an S1 AFT Sky Suite and loved the location, very quiet and peaceful. Out butler was not the best that we have had, but wasn’t the worst either, he just had too many suites on different floors and it seemed like he skipped us a lot. Our Room Steward Alberto was wonderful, and made up for our butler. As a matter of fact he would see that the Butler didn’t come buy and bring us ice several times, and our room steward would just take care of it without even being asked. He got most of our Butler’s extra tip because of it. Our room steward jumped on our room to clean it almost immediately when we would leave the room for breakfast and dinner. He was The best!d

Disembarkation

Disembarkation was wonderful. After breakfast in Luminae we went to Michael’s Club, were the Conciege walked us off the ship as soon as the self walk offs were off. We were in our car by 8:00am and on the road home.
