Review summary

Excellent smooth transatlantic crossing. A lovely ship and good service. Visits to New York and Boston excellent - sail in and sail away was a real experience.

Excellent minus and service and food in the main dining room. Murano was superb, as good as any top London restaurant

Onboard Activities

Fitness centre was very good, on board cast and shows were excellent. Solarium was good. As soon as the sun came out, the activities people insisted on having loud music and line dancing around the pool for 12 people. The whole,of the ship does not want to listen to it, for the sake of these 12 people. The people on board were mainly adults only who wanted to relax with background good music.

Entertainment

Band excellent, onboard cast and ships shows were excellent, but some of the guest entertainers who were brought on were poor. A comedian and a singer who kept asking for applause. Don't they realize that people will applaud if they finding something good. A lot walked out of these shows because the entertainer was very patronizing to the audience.

No children with us. It was not the school holidays

Dining room waiters - john and his team, were excellent. Room steward was ok And guest services need to be a little happier and not so surly. Also a problem with one waiter in the diamond lounge one evening.

Concierge so we had the footstools on the balcony which made a real difference and were great. Size - as expected. Cleanliness - good

Ship tip

Not a ship for children. It should be adults only. This would be much better, I don't understand why anyone would want to take a child on this ship .there are plenty of ships for children and not enough for just adults.
