I had another cruise booked on Celebrity for next year but as soon as I got home I cancelled it. Too high of a price to pay for budget fare. Princess would be better. Celebrity has cut back services and starting to nickel and dime you.
Embarkation

We were delayed getting on because they had to sanitize the whole ship due to sickness.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Steaks in the MDR where terrible, cheapest piece of meat they could buy, tough to chew. I tried three times. Buffet, some items were so over cooked they were hard and others were cold. Very limited dinner buffet, they want you to do the MDR or Specialty Restaurants. Room Service is now $12 including tip each delivery, no matter what time of day.

Had a wonderful duet in the Cellers Master lounge. Husband and wife playing a cello and viola and they were fantastic.
Children's Programs
Duh, no kids.
Service and Staff

Very friendly staff. Did have a little language problem. Sometimes they had a hard time understanding English and sometimes I had a hard time understanding their limited English.
Ship Quality

Older ship but for the most part taken care of. Does need to have some work done on her.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
A year ago I had a Deluxe Veranda Stateroom on Princess Cruises and there is difference in size versus the Celebrity Deluxe Veranda Stateroom. This was smaller. Cleanliness was very good. Bed was very hard.
In February 2023 we had every breakfast in room. Coffee, pastries, fruit -- NO CHARGE. That is still standard on Celebrity. Other room service is subject to a drop charge that you cited. We loved to sail out of Tampa. Every other ship that is currently in Tampa is 3 times worse. We can't get on a Princess ship in Tampa, Princess won't sail into T/B.
Appreciate your detailed feedback. It’s obvious that you prefer Princess. Glad you were able to eliminate one cruise line from the plethora of options. Sorry you were disappointed in this cruise.
