The ship is very dated and needs many upgrades. While celebrity is known for catering to specific crowd, they really should provide a more well-rounded experience. It felt more like a floating golden-corral and strip mall than a luxury cruise ship. Very off-brand and disappointing. The only good things about the ship are the specialty restaurants and bartenders.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The buffet was average and had a pretty good selection each day. Main dining room was not up to par with what we've have come to expect with the Celebrity brand. Specialty restaurants were excellent but you shouldn't have to spend so much extra money in order to enjoy a meal on the ship.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
Ship was severely lacking in activities. Other than two ping-pong tables, a basketball court, and a beat up cornhole set there wasn't much else to do. Therefore the pools/hot tub's were always overcrowded. Stay away from Deal or no Deal as it is a rip-off and a scam
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The performers were talented but the shows were very one-note. Mostly revue shows with a single performer singing slow songs. There were very few shows that actually featured dancers/acrobats.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Stateroom attendant was nowhere to be found. When called he would take hours to respond.
Restaurant staff varied greatly depending on where you were dining. Bartenders were super friendly and engaging.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
Ship needs a facelift. There was paint peeling and rust visible all throughout the exterior. The fabric canopies looked like they haven't been replaced in years. The spa showers, sauna, changing areas were filthy. We notices access doors that were left open, ceilings that were hanging down, and light-bulbs that were burnt out all throughout the ship. The glass railings on the exterior of the ship were filthy.
Cabin / Stateroom
2 out of 5
We found black mold upon entering our cabin and promptly asked to be switch to another room. Our new room was cleaner but the bathroom floor tiles were coming up and you can tell water was getting underneath them. Whenever you stepped on the bathroom floor you would hear a squishing sound as the water would come back up and soak the floor. Our balcony railing was covered in salt and the glass was not cleaned.
Ship tip
Do not sail if you are prone to sea sickness. The ship rocked vigorously for days on end even in calm waters. Many people got seasick during our cruise. We later found out that the crew turned off the ship stabilizers in order to conserve fuel. Unacceptable.
I was on the sailing prior and absolutely agree with your review and experienced similar issues. Bartenders and staff in the public areas were truly the only thing that felt were in line with what Celebrity represents. They need to add better music/ entertainment by to pool as well! The guitarist played the same set of songs day in and out at various bars and poolside. Not what we wanted to hear while laying out and trying to be in the Caribbean mindset!

We were on this same sailing. Seems like this guy lives in an alternate universe. One night was rocky but nothing like a transatlantic we took once. Room steward was excellent. This was our 2nd celebrity in 2 months, will do more.
We were on this cruise as well and agree, but we found the buffet to be below average as pork meat was the main meat throughout the cruise. Hardly any beef served. We had better service on Royal Caribbean and Celebrity charges higher tips and is suppose to be a higher level of service. They are hurting their brand with all the cut back. A lot of people were complaining about the ship rocking and the stabilizers not being used. The level of service was very low. Our first stateroom attendant was a slug and was shocked we asked for ice in an ice bucket each night. He brought the bucket without a lid for it. Luckily or unluckily, our cabin got flooded due to a water leak in the hallway and we were moved to a better cabin with a stateroom attendant that was better but still not as good as other cruiselines. This ship needs a total renovation.
