Cruise was great as well as itinerary. Ship is nicely maintained and easy to navigate. Officers were very present and crew worked very hard despite being short staffed. Our personal issues going forward are learning to deal with lack of accessibility for tours which we miss doing. Happy that most of the places we have visited over the past 20+years we have already done all the excursions so most trips are now staying mainly in ports. However we will continue to cruise, adjusting along the way and will sail Constellation again.
Embarkation

Easy embarkation for my accessible husband and I
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Service in the main dining room was good but show on a few nights, due mainly to understaffed servers. Two hours plus on a couple of nights. Dining room staff worked very hard to compensate for long dinners. Tuscan Grill was very relaxing, food and service was excellent. Buffet was ok. It seemed like there was not enough variety at lunch. Too many hot entrees and not enough salad or cold items. If I am eating dinner in the dining room, I don’t want a full course meal at lunch. Omelet station at breakfast was very good.
Onboard Activities

Did not partake in any activities except hot tub on one occasion.
Entertainment

Service and Staff

Again, ship is understaffed but all staff did their best with the number of guests on board. They worked very hard.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship looks good for over 20 yrs old. Staterooms could use some new carpeting, drapes, etc. loved all the storage in our accessible cabin. Ship was spotless and could see constant cleaning at all times during the day and evening.
Cabin / Stateroom

Accessible aft. Huge balcony and lots of room to park scooter. Bathroom layout was great for my husband and I also enjoyed the walk in shower. No thresholds for him to trip over and no falls in the shower due to pull down bench and plenty of grab bars. Will definitely book this cabin again.
Ship tip
Great ship. Not too big. Mostly older adults which we like.
New port. Still under construction. Issue was uneven pavers through out walking areas which made for a very uncomfortable scooter ride. Beautiful pool and bar area. No handicap access restrooms. Biggest issue for every port was getting a scooter over the gangway ramp while trying to disembark or return to ship. Very steep angles on both sides of ramp made it difficult for not only scooters but also for wheelchairs. Some could not navigate the steep angles which prevented them from getting off the ship.
Been to PR many times and always enjoyed. Much construction on already difficult roads and sidewalks to use, which made it nearly impossible to use a scooter. Had lunch and went back to ship.
Appreciate your feedback. It’s good to know what ports are easier for scooters and wheel chairs. Thanks. Glad you enjoyed cruise in spite of the new situation.
