We had never cruised on the Constellation, but will be back. She is lovely! She has not had her refurbishment, but all the spaces we visited onboard were clean, easy to get around, fun to explore. Note- the casino has maybe 5 tables, table minimum was $10, but they dropped it down to $6, and it would be full at certain times... older slot machines. Only 2 dancing drums, and 1-3 Buffaloes. Slots were tight!
Embarkation

Arrived to port, used the valet service for car, walked right up to get checked in, no waiting!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We were in a sky suite, so we ate most meals in Luminae, the private restaurant for suite guests...It was spectacular! The food and service was above expectations!!! The plates were beautifully prepared, large portions, and delicious. By-pass the buffets...very average, the food looked tired...Specialty restaurants- Le Petite Chef, and Tuscan Grill, and The Chef's Table, were exceptional! Well worth the adventure! We never ate in the main dining room...
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Played trivia almost every round...there were multiple times during the day, and a variety to attend. Roxtar was our host, he made it very fun and challenging! Also had baggo tournaments (think corn hole), golf putting, Art auctions, shopping, Deal or no deal, out door movies with a view...Met some great, fun people!
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Some of the best music I have heard onboard in a long time! Different venues all over the ship, hosted multiple genres at the same time, inviting you to sit and listen...
Children's Programs
Did not travel with children
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The staff in Luminae restaurant was the best! Miss Russell (Rusty is her new nickname) the Hostess, Milo the Sommelier, Ronaldo and Genner, Stephen, Royce, all the supporting staff were fun! They sang and laughed, and gave excellent service above all!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I thought the ship was easy to navigate...not too big, not too small...very clean!!!
All day there was someone cleaning the handrails on the stairs, and also cleaning the elevators
Cabin / Stateroom

We were mid-ship, very nice location, but our balcony overlooked the life boats...So for some, this may be a negative...Melanio our room steward, always had the room super clean! Sebastian our Butler, was always seen and available, ready to help.
Ship tip
Upgrade to a suite, if you can, to enjoy the perks of being spoiled!
We rented golf carts from Bonaire Cruisers. $100 deposit and $100 rental...deposit returned in cash upon return...It was fun, we got lost, but fun, none the less!
We had a private excursion booked through Tripadvisors. It was excellent! We went to see the blow hole, and a small beach that was gorgeous...We saw the turtles,(we did not swim with them, although we could have...) took lots of pictures, ate lunch at a lovely hilltop spot overlooking 3 beaches, and people were cliff jumping from the ledge by our table! Went to the distillery to sample some Curacao liquor, delicious! Great place to buy some liquid souvenirs!
About a 4 hour+ trip, not rushed, clean car. We were offered cold water and fresh melon from the garden as snacks! :)
Fast, easy, bags were there, no waiting to clear customs...Note- get a porter to help you...they will bring you right outside, give your ticket to the valet and you will be on your way in no time!
