Review summary

Another great transatlantic cruise. Will definitely do it again.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Due to high winds we were unable to embark in Civitavecchia (Rome). We were bused to Naples a three hour journey. The ship left very late but kudos to Celebrity as they had to move over 4,000 people - half from the ship to Rome, the other half to the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The main dining room was very good. The buffet was fine.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Did not really participate.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The shows were fine.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The staff are always attentive on Celebrity.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The Constellation was over 10 years old when we sailed. It is well layed out and not too big. The ship was very well-maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin is well layed out and has plenty of storage.

Ports of call

Tenerife, Canary Islands

5 out of 5
Excursion: Taganana. This was the second time taking this tour and would take it again. The scenery is breathtaking high up in the mountains.

Lanzarote, Canary Islands

4 out of 5
Excursion: Panoramic Lanzarote. This was an epic volcano tour. It was like being on Mars. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour.

Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Canary Islands

3 out of 5
W chose to take the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus. Was not worth the wait or the time. When we got back to the port we found an outdoor bar, ordered a jug of delicious Sangria and watched the world go by.

Cartagena, Spain

3 out of 5
Excursion: Journey to Murcia. We visited the Fuensanta Monastery and the Royal Casino of Murcia. This tour was unimpressive.

Agadir, Morocco

2 out of 5
Excursion: a tour of Agadir. We were originally booked to go to Marrakech. We cancelled because I was too sick with a terrible cough to endure the long bus ride there and back. The tour we did go on was rather pathetic.

Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy

5 out of 5
Excursion: SAN Gimignano & Volterra. The Tuscan countryside is picturesque and not to be missed. Both medieval villages are charming. We had a great lunch at a local winery.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Seemless as usual.
