For our first cruise this was perhaps beyond what we expected. All ports were excellent and the experience on board very positive. I will definitely consider joing another Celebrity cruise ship in the future.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We used the main dining room each evening a d the oceanview for breakfast and lunch, if we were on the ship. The selection and quality of food was excellent.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We spent a little time on deck 10 and used the jacuzzi. The pool was fairly small. The day we spent some time on deck 10 was when the majority of people were off the ship. We did not use the fitness centre.

The ship entertainment was excellent and we attended shows on eight of the nine days.
Celebrity Theater

Lovely venue and entertainment for the full cruise was excellent. The evening shows were a highlight of the cruise.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We had the same waiter, assistant and sommelier each evening in the main dining room, which was nice. They quickly learned what you liked/Frank etc. The stateroom attendant was extremely helpful with information and exchanged our disembarkstion time in order that we would be off in time for our private transfer.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
All areas of the ship were very clean and well maintained. Some areas could perhaps benefit from renewal/refurb.
Cabin / Stateroom

It was nice to have a balcony cabin, particularly when arriving in some ports, Kotor especially. It was good also to have the door open and hear the sound of the sea.
This was a tender transfer. We took a train to Nice, which was easy to doon your own and cost less than €8 for two adult returns. Ship excursions wew really expensive.
We took an excursion, not ship excursion, to Pisa (from company at port) for €40. This was in a 9 seater vehicle. Excursion to Florence and Pisa was €70 but not enough people wishing to do this excursion when we got off the ship.
At this port there were many companies offering excursions. We joined a large coach which left the port at 9.30 am and cost €35 per person plus €2.50 for earphones. This was a fully escorted excursion with Pamela providing lots of information. Lots of walking and it was 32 degrees that day. We didn't stop for a food break until 2.50 pm. If doing this again I would take so.e snacks with me.
Again we explored ourselves. Some shops/bars will take euros but one cafe/bar we had a drink at would only take Kuna. We had taken Kuna with us but other customers were being g asked to go to a shop to exchange their Euros for Kunas.
We left the ship early but had arranged to stay for two nights in Mestre. It was approximately 10 minutes bus ride to Piazza Roma where we then took the water bus. We bought a 48 hour ticket at our hotel which covered both buses and water buses and cost €30. Again, we explored on our own.
